Mood: confused, frustrated, and yet anxious for the weekend Music: Smashing Pumkins - Today for those of you who actually read this and don't know, this weekend is family weekend UIowa, so naturally i was expecting some family. so my dad, my stepmom, and my mom were all planning to come out, and my mom would bring rachel. well, finding a hotel for my mom was damn near impossible, and she wasnt comfortable staying with my aunt and uncle because my dad would be there. so i get an email last sunday morning saying that she will find another time to come up and dad could bring rachel. so i call my dad to ask if he wouldnt mind waiting a little a

Tuesday August 9, 2005 2:00 a.m. I don't really know how to explain what's going on with me right now.  I leave for college in 10 days and the best summer of my life is about to end.    I have no worries or anxieties about college, I am confident that adapting to independence will be no trouble for me.  I have been independent in spirit for quite a while now, so I know that the transition will be smooth.   The only thing I am anxious about is having to leave everyone behind.  Right now everything seems to be perfect with those I love, and I feel like there is going to be so much distance in the way that it could become almost unbearable.   D
